FORMER CONVENT OF THE CORDELIERS
Convent built in the 15th century, with fine architecture, housing the public finance center and the multipurpose room in Nozeroy.
Built in the 15th century, the convent was once occupied by a community of Franciscan monks, nicknamed "cordeliers" because of the rope they wore around their waists. Today, the former convent houses the Nozeroy public finance center on one side and the multi-purpose hall on the other. The architecture of the building is very fine: an ashlar pediment, niches housing a lovely statue of the Virgin and Child. Sublime!
