They have been in existence since 1529 and have prospered thanks to the hydraulic power of the river La Loue. The site has undergone improvements over time, with the addition of millstones and turbines to increase productivity. The mill is ideally located between Dole and Lons-le-Saunier. In the 1980s, Moulins de Parcey joined Moulins Joseph Nicot, retaining its autonomy and Franc-Comtois culture.
