LA VALLÉE HEUREUSE * * *
Poligny, with its rivers, had many mills in the 18th century. This one takes its name, "La Vallée Heureuse", from the Bougmez region, where the first owners who had renovated it into a hotel and restaurant were born. Since June 2017, two young professionals, Stéphane Bachet and his partner Elisa, have taken over this establishment, giving it a new appeal, both in the hotel and restaurant sectors. The wine list has been revised by focusing on wines from the Jura and Polish vineyards. The menu offers a beautiful overview of the Comté region, with sometimes exotic peaks, the chef being Franco-Asian... the menu is renewed regularly. The restaurant with a panoramic view overlooks the 2 ha park crossed by the trout river "la Glantine". It is voluntarily limited to 30 places, but a large terrace completes the whole. A charming establishment to rediscover.
