JACOBIN CHURCH
Built in the century by Count of Burgundy Othon III and later by his sister Alix, this church is a jewel of religious art.
This church was built in the 13th century by Count Othon III of Burgundy and later by his sister Alix. All that remains of the Jacobin convent is the church. Completely renovated, it is now an exceptional jewel in the crown of France's religious heritage. Its nave, superb keystones and gigantic 18th-century marble altarpiece form a harmonious whole. To find out more about the building, pick up a copy of the publication published by the dynamic Association des Jacobins, or contact the tourist office. A visit is a must.
