LE BOIS DE KAZOU
The Nicod's have been in the woods for 4 generations and Christian for over 30 years. He even remembers that his great-grandfather and his brothers used to turn tool handles in Arbois. After having their wood shavings as a playground, Kazou (nickname of the cabinetmaker) specialized in art cabinet making. He also obtained a BEP in this speciality. Initially, he practiced turning, sculpture and then very quickly this led him to the renovation of furniture and artistic objects. Craftsman in art craft, his hands reborn the old with delicacy, professionalism and aestheticism. Forgotten furniture then regains its place and value in homes. And then, he has kept the pleasure of making small things in walnut, pear tree, boxwood, ash... of incredible finesse: small boxes, brooches, statuettes, spinning tops, corkscrews, chess pieces, jewels... Come to the workshop, he will tell you all about it and even give you some ideas.
