Le Bistrot d'Antan is a gourmet restaurant located in the heart of Bruges, 5 minutes from Bordeaux and at the gateway to the Médoc. The chef, Thierry Mottard, offers gastronomic and seasonal cuisine; as you'll have gathered, the team here works with fresh, seasonal and local produce. You'll enjoy scallops, foie gras, duck, lamprey à la bordelaise, truffles, porcini mushrooms and more. The value for money is excellent and the service very friendly. What's more, when we sit down at the table, we're offered little nibbles to tide us over. As for the wines, Karin and Thierry have a list of grands crus and estate wines. The bistro also boasts a whisky cellar. A lunch or dinner stopover you're sure to enjoy.
