This hotel, with its unassuming exterior, is only 300 metres from the cathedral. The 30 simply decorated rooms are comfortable and spacious. Some rooms overlook the mountains surrounding the city. All rooms are soundproofed. The breakfast is copious, the reception very nice. Don't hesitate to try the hotel's restaurant, Le Loft: the dishes served are homemade and some regional specialities are on the menu, including the famous poultry "bréchets" which are called "poor man's frogs" in Bresse.

La façade de l'hôtel est assez quelconque pour un 3 *, mais à l'intérieur, c'est très confortable. Attention, certaines chambres sont petites, demander à voir. Personnel aimable et attentionné. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Possibilité de déjeuner/diner sur place, pratique, mais nous n'avons pas testé. Attention pour les handicapés: on accède à l'ascenseur par une volée de huit marches.
