A people's house in Saint-Claude, offering a social adventure dedicated to well-being, culture and service for workers.
This building, classified as a historical monument, was inaugurated in 1901 by Jaurès and proposed a social adventure dedicated to the well-being and culture of the workers. La Fraternelle brings this original site back to life. The place retraces themes (architecture, society, mutualist life). We discover the nursery, the purchasing cooperative (grocery store, butcher shop, delicatessen), the ovens, the wine and cheese cellars. It is also a cultural space (theater, café, cinema, art library, typography workshop, store). This hybrid place welcomes artists. A unique place!
