CLUSE AND WATERFALLS OF THE FLUMEN
Go there and contact
From Saint-Claude, take the direction of Geneva, Septmoncel, and then Du municipal camping. In the hamlet Le Martinet you can park on the small square of the village or follow the sign on the left towards the Gorges gorges and park a few hundred meters further, on a small, improvised parking. There are various marked trails (from easy to very, very sporty). You can opt for the Tour de la Gorges, the Cascades Promenade, the White Rock Belvedere or the Chapeau de chapeau de De. Count from a. m. to a. m. on the route chosen. The Flumen is a tributary of Parr and the waterfalls are outbreaks. They plunge into a preserved circus, classified as a natural heritage of national interest. They are accessible through a unique path: Make good shoes and count 1 hours round round. In summer, in warm weather or summer, the site is fresh and pleasant, as bordered by the forest. Practicable in any season, however, we advise you to carry out Cascades walk after rain or in winter when it freezes. It is simply splendid.
