JURA AREA
Accessible by motorway in both directions of traffic and local roads, the Jura area could have, like all the motorway areas, had a petrol station, a souvenir shop of the region, a restaurant… But since 1998, it has been home to interesting curiosities worth a visit. Here we discover strange constructions, completely different from buildings of resting areas, unique. These are reproductions of buildings imagined for an ideal city by Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, who had to supplement the Saline Royale of Arc-et-Senans. This project has never been successful. The Bourneville Gate, which houses the store and restaurant, is first seen. With its 25 meter high tower and its 163 steps, it competes with the show of the Pavilion closed to the public in January 2015. This results from a superposition of concrete cylindrical lamella, referring to the casings of the salt barrels. For the planner and architect of the lights, the workshop was supposed to shelve the work of Arc-et-Senans. The basin added to the original project recalls that the Jura is a department of lakes. A third building, pyramidal, designed to become a cannons forge, serves as a furnace.

En plus, à l’étage, je n’ai JAMAIS vu autant de mouches !!! Je ne reviendrai plus jamais, aire de repos aberrant. Originalité 5/5 : lieu infesté de mouche
