On the border between Doubs and Jura, Quentin Gornouvel produces organic Jura cider, juice and vinegar.
A winemaker for a decade in southern Yonne on the eternal hill of Vézelay, Quentin Gornouvel took over the Salans cider house in 2023. Since then, he has been looking after 26 varieties of apples, local, national, recent and old, grown on apple trees planted in the 1990s. From these lovely trees, he makes apple, raspberry and cherry juices, cider and cider vinegar. During the harvest season, the Salans cider house also allows individuals to press and bottle their own fruit, apples or grapes.
