JEAN MÉDEVILLE ET FILS
For more than 180 years the name Médeville is part of the tradition of Bordeaux. Jérôme Médeville, cooper to Cadillac, bought the Château Fayau in 1826. In 1908, under the direction of his grandson Numa Médeville, the area spanned 140 hectares, 75 of which were complantés on both sides. At the same Time, Château Fayau is enriched by a set of modern buildings, cellars and tubs. Today, seven generations later, it is Marc, Jacques and Jean Médeville who run the operation. Château Fayau remains the heart of the area: it covers almost 180 hectares of vines distributed on both sides of the Garonne.
