LE BEIGNET BORDEAUX
Carni and traditional doughnut recipes, including falafel for vegetarians
Traditionally, doughnuts are eaten at the end of a meal, often at Carnival time. In Bordeaux, however, certain enthusiasts have decided to do things differently. They created the "Beignet de Bordeaux" and, in the process, invented recipes for carni doughnuts. They've filled them with beef, chicken, merguez, falafel for vegetarians, not forgetting the traditional fritter or banana fritter. To accompany them, add a sauce of Douala pepper puree or Loum pepper puree, both very popular in Cameroon. Delivery only.
