MICALET CASTLE
Castle where the vines are treated with the greatest respect for nature, houses a 2 ears quality label Gîtes de France
For three generations, the Fédieu family has treated its vineyards with the greatest respect for nature, not using any chemical weed for soil maintenance. Since 2006, the entire domain is stamped organic for the happiness of consumers who love real taste and coccinelle. Damien and Dominique Fédieu work hard on their various plots so that their wines give their best and recognition is at the meeting. The orders are flowing, and with its 35,000 passes a year, the wine of Château Micalet is tasted in Germany, England, the United States, and even Japan. The composition of this high medoc is 45% cabernet sauvignon, 45% merlot, 7% small verdowry, and 3% cabernet franc. A feat for a wine that demands so much care. You can also enjoy the Gîtes de France Gîtes Quality Label, which can accommodate up to 6 people. The opinion of the oenologists: High Medoc 2006 - AWC Vienna 2008, Silver Medal: vanilla, cherry, prune, dense, spicy; end, round, nice tannins. New 2011: The castle innovates with its second wine "The curade of Micalet", to discover absolutely!
