CHATEAU MARSAU
Jean-Marie Chadronnier is a wine grower and president of the Compagnie des Vins de Bordeaux et de la Gironde. Two complementary activities since CVBG Kressmann distributes some of the greatest wines of Bordeaux. The vineyard of Château Marsau occupies one of the highlights of the commune of Franc, on a hill named La Bernaderie, a land of deep clay in which vines come to plant their roots, or 10 hectares of Merlot worked with passion and precision. Everything is done so that the vine gives the best of itself with precise and meticulous know-how, increasing the density of planting, controlling yields and seeking the best balances of maturity. The result: a rich Bordeaux-rib-de-franc, concentrated that combines structure and finesse. Through the vintages of fleshy wines from end to end, as evidenced by the superb 2000, which only requires a few years of rest to be at its maximum.
