MAISON HEBRARD
An architectural marvel of the Middle Ages, the Château de Franc is surrounded by an area of 40 hectares of vines on a terroir-clay soil near that of Saint-Emilion. The wines have a silky texture typical of the right bank. Black fruit notes, slightly cacaotées, prove to be extremely glamorous. It should be noted that the côtes-de-Franc appellation was officially born in 1967 but was truly developed from the 1980 s, when prestigious wine growers such as Dominique Hebrard, at the time owner of the Blanc Blanc Castle and Hubert de Bouard, owner of the castle L'Angelus, acted as pioneers by buying the castle of Francs.
