Directly connected to the Vélodyssée, this long sandy cove bordered by vast dunes is home to some precious historical treasures. Here and there are several bunkers, remnants of the Atlantic Wall, built during the 1939-1945 war by the Germans to defend the coast. Watched over in summer, it's also a good surfing spot with a westerly swell and an easterly wind. On a clear day, the most attentive can see the Cordouan lighthouse on the horizon.
