Château Lamothe de Haux, a charming 16th-century residence, is home to impressive troglodyte galleries, which have been converted into ageing cellars. These galleries were dug in the 17th century, when the limestone used to build Lamothe and the surrounding estates was extracted. At 30 meters below ground, they provide an ideal, constant temperature for preserving and maturing the wines. The estate also offers a gîte with swimming pool.
