CHATEAU L'ESTRAN
L 'Estran Castle (formerly known as Listran Castle) is an extensive property on 100 ha, including 28 ha of vineyards, listed since 1832 in bourgeois cru and produces an excellent wine often referenced - star at the Hachette Guide, Channel Wine, medals in the General Agricultural Contest. A visit and tasting are required for this domain which changed its name and owner in 2010. The former owner, without heir, had indeed sold the estate to a Chinese.
The opinion of oenologists: Château L 'Estran, cru bourgeois prestige medoc 2012. A pretty color. Good volume. A ripe fruit nose, jams. Well structured wine without being too powerful. Tannins pleasant. Ideal with gigs, palate salts. Château Listran, raw bourgeois cru medoc prestige 2014: a deep color. A very fruity nose, cassis. Well structured wine. Pleasant tannins, powerful with a good length. Ideal with gigs.
