Château de La Brède, in the heart of a park, offering free tours to learn more about its regular garden

Classified as a historic monument since 1951, the Château de La Brède is a must-see. Set in 150 hectares of parkland, it was built in the 14thcentury and renovated during the Renaissance and 19th centuries. It was here that Charles-Louis de Secondat, Baron de La Brède and de Montesquieu, was born in 1689, and wrote much of De l'Esprit des lois. During the high season, guided or self-guided tours are organized to visit this surprising polygonal edifice and learn more about its regular garden.

Si vous passez dans la région ne manquez pas ce joli château au milieu d'une très beau parc. Vous y découvrirez un très beau mobilier dans lequel a vécu Montesquieu
