The church Saint-Peter earned its place in the list of historical monuments in 1923. It once depended on Guîtres abbey. It is mainly Romanesque style, but the nave, it is Gothic. The building was fortified during the religious wars. The doorway of the church, made also in a Romanesque style, is the most remarkable element of the building. The tympanum represents the first vision of the Revelation of Saint-Jean in Patmos, it is an unique work that will delight lovers of art and history. On the northern wall of the nave, you find a painting given in 1642 by the Bordeaux school, "The Crucifixion". The church Saint-Peter deserves the look in more than one respect.
