CHÂTEAU DE MALLERET
Château classified Cru Bourgeois Exceptional, the construction dates from the 16th century and it became a wine estate in the 18th century
Château de Malleret, classified Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, has been in the hands of the same family for over 160 years. Although its construction dates back to the 16th century, it did not become a wine estate until 1860. Surrounded by one of the finest arboretums in the region, the cellar features a magnificent oak framework, its upside-down ship's hull shape enhancing the alignment of the barrels. For several seasons now, the château has also been producing a vintage oil from three varieties of olive, and delighting us with a wildflower honey.
