ST. VICTORIAN CHURCH
Go there and contact
The first church of Porge to be located at a place called Gleyze-Vieille halfway to the village and the ocean whose origins date back to the Middle Ages. The current church was rebuilt in 1890, in place of the old church of the 14th century, as evidenced by some parts of the building, which are from the first building. Its style is neo-Gothic. Located on the road to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, it houses many works listed on the Historical Monuments such as painted wooden Christ and statue of Saint Eutropius of the 17th century, Virgin and Child of 18th century and large painting of Saint Eutropius. A place where the pilgrims of Saint-Jacques can register their origin on a world map.
