The name announces the color: this house created by a couple of former fishmongers honors the products of the sea. On the menu is a waltz of monkfish, sole, crab, blue lobster, fish soup, eel persillade... and delicious and hearty seafood! No high gastronomy, but a simple and fine cuisine, made with fresh products, and which never disappoints, all served with smiles and efficiency. For those who are just passing through, take advantage of the bar to have a drink before embarking towards Royan. A local institution.

Service peu agréable ( oubli carte des vins/ pas de proposition d aperirif a la prise de commande / desservi de la table parla serveuse par "un café?" ...????) vraiment l impression de devoir manger régler l addition et débarrasser le plancher.. (je précise : la table était réservée depuis la veille.. )
Pour ce qui est des repas : ensemble convenable sans surprise... qui s averent surtarifé pour la prestation cuisine/présentation.
Bref. Bien décevant.

Nous le recommandons sur Le Verdon sur Mer
L'accueil, le service, les plats de fruits de mer (soupe de poisson, moules, encornets calamars) et les desserts très bien, nous avons passé un agréable déjeuner sous la véranda.

it is quite a restaurant group. Many people, especially on arrivals ferries and the shuttle to the Cordovan lighthouse. Fish dishes are of average quality, it is better to choose the seafood platters. Fish soup generous, but a little coarse desserts. The service is very efficient.

We went to eat last weekend, seafood platters are exceptional freshness, whelks are extraordinary, when the desserts they very hearty and are homemade. With not lost if you are in the region.
