The municipality of Médoc-Médoc is one of the most important areas of the sector. Located on the departmental side linking Verdon to the capital Gironde, the municipality is about 60 km from Bordeaux. It has about 5 600 Lesparrains. It is located in the Médoc territory and consists of a large number of tertiary activities and several commercial zones. Lesparre-Médoc is an obligatory point of transition to seaside resorts and is a popular tourist site in summer. One can see the Tower of Honour, 30 metres high, the remnant of the Sir castle of Lespare of the th century, classified as a historic monument. The tower houses a museum of local history, crafts and médocaines traditions. You can also discover very good tables in the heart of the vineyards. Lesparre-Médoc is a city where the quality of life, it actually offers many services of proximity in terms of health, shops, administrations… likewise sporting, cultural and associative life is rich: Wine fair, library, cultural centre, cinema Le Molière, omnisport room and a large number of sports facilities (swimming pool, tennis courts, stadiums, gymnasium, hippodrome…). Moreover, it is a festive event throughout the year, and all events are organised: the carnival, the feast of the hippodrome, as well as numerous fairs, markets and vide-greniers… Lesparre-Médoc, a lively city throughout the year.
