Museum full of documents, tools, rare objects and bottles tracing the history of wine, oenology workshop offered.
The Musée du Vin is housed in former quarries dating back to the Middle Ages, converted into cellars by the monks of Passy. Its permanent collection of over 2,200 documents, tools, rare objects and bottles retraces the thousand-year history of this divine nectar. Recently taken over by a new generation of entrepreneurs, and after extensive renovations, the M. Musée du Vin is now revealing itself in a new light, with a bistronomic restaurant run by chef Marc Ranger, a bar, tasting rooms and a boutique brimming with wine-related treasures.
