Très bon restaurant, impeu cher mais vu l'emplacement et le cadre ont leur pardonne rapidement . lol

Cadre exceptionnel pour ce restaurant japonais très chic. Le service est excellent. On ressent que la qualité des poissons est très haute, tout comme la découpe qui est très fine et professionnelle.

Mention spéciale pour le menu izakaya (bistrot en japonais), gouteux et bien préparé. Évitez les sushis/makis qui, par construction, ne seront pas meilleurs (mais beaucoup plus chers) que ceux qui vous sont livrés chez vous, sauf les spécialités du chef. Excellents cocktails. Dommage: une salle qui mériterait d'être insonorisée et un prix... japonais.

Un lieu très agréable pour mangé des très bons sushis ainsi que des plats chauds de très bonne qualité.

Cuisine japonaise exceptionnelle, rarement égalée en France...avec une ambiance cosie. Je conseille vivement

Tout est très bon dans ce restaurant, juste un seul bémol, pas de flexibilité dans les plats si on veut trois makis et trois sushis c’est impossible.
Sinon le personne est très aimable…

Ambiance raffinée, mais assez agitée et bruyante au déjeuner, les sushis et sashimis sont excellents et très frais, rien à redire, mais cela reste assez classique et un peu cher pour ce que c’est. Le fondant au chocolat est bon, mais le mariage chaud froid avec la glace au matcha est un peu désagréable pour les dents.

I am Japanese living in EU. The low quality food being served at high price happens everywhere and is not my business.

However, the thoughts that some people eating this may think it is authentic because of the price, making them dislike Japanese or thinking that sushi is just random slice of fish on dry rice is very unpleasant.

I do not support the business style here. Hence I leave 1 star.

Good food but very noisy and Say too slow (overcooked rice...)

Wow read the reviews and saw a few people going into
this place so we thought it must be good. Boy was I
wrong. The one teriyaki salmon dish that seemed to
get good reviews was put down by the waiter and said
you can get that anywhere and recommended another
dish. All the negative reviews from patrons including
chefs and other people who have simple expectations
are so true. Poor service, no management, and
unreasonable pricing. The manager came toward us
and saw we were sitting there waiting with no
attention and sat down next to us at another table and
had a glass of wine. The server brought a bottle of
water to the table and poured it in the glasses like we
have had happen at other local restaurants and when
we had finished the water, a food server came and
took the bottle away and we never got more water
Then when we finally complained he brought us
another bottle of water and charged us $9. This was
never discussed and never agreed to. My wife took the
waiters suggestion and ordered the sea bass which
was very good. Unfortunately when he asked about a
couple sides to go with it, we agreed thinking they
were included but we ended up getting charged over
$30 for a side of mushrooms and $8 for a small bowl
of brown rice unexpectedly. When we complained to
the waiter he basically just defended the policies and
said he was sorry. Some large parties came in and our
waiter never came back and checked on us. We felt
completely ignored, overcharged, and neglected. This
is not the way we expected to be treated when paying top dollar. We ate across the street at
Alfred's the night before and what a difference. The
general manager came to our table and helped explain
things, they gave great waiter service and the food was
excellent. What a contrast to this chain sushi
restaurant that appeared to be good until we
experienced it. Very disappointing. We were excited to
come to this restaurant and had good expectations
and honestly don't want to say bad things, but this
was exceptionally bad service and treatment.

Great quality all the time

Le Kinugawa de la Place Vendôme a atteint l’excellence selon moi. Le cadre du restaurant est vraiment design avec une architecture moderne et soignée. L’équipe est plus que professionnel et agréable et explique parfaitement le concept du restaurant japonais. La qualité de la nourriture est plus qu’exceptionnel, les sushis sont frais et goûteux et les sashimis sont tout aussi excellent !!! Je peux que vous féliciter pour ce travail parfait !!! ????????

This restaurant was a random pick from the Google map, luckily we did so.

Love the food there, the sashimi was so fresh which I couldn't forget about the taste till now. The spinach salad was also so fresh and taste good. While the miso fish was a bit too salty and the sushi was just normal.

Overall the food was so great, the waiter recommended us a Japanese wine was good also. Just if some windows being opened or air-conditioner was turned on a bit would be more comfy.

Would definitely come and visit again :)

L’hôtesse à l’accueil est très aimable, les plats succulents, très bonne carte japonaise.

Vraiment très très bon. Sushi excellent et plat tout aussi beau que bon. Je recommande si vous avez du budget.

Great location, service, ambiance. Food is just very average.

Miss finesse and very expensive for the dishes served... AVOID for those seeking authenticity of the real japanese cuisine. Moreover, staff is not very pleasant.
