Modern hotel committed to the environment with suites with private terraces and views of Paris.
The hotel group Mandarin Oriental opened its first hotel in Paris. The architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte supervised the rehabilitation of this building, its façade and patio. Sybille de Margerie did the interior architecture and decoration of the rooms, spa and public areas whereas Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku did the bar and restaurants. This modern palace with the Art Deco architecture gets its bases from riches, modern and creative aspects of the 1930s, including references from luxury and Parisian fashion. Once you cross the porch, you enter a majestic lobby and discover a pleasant background which is quite intimate. Suites transformed into duplexes found on the seventh and eighth floors offer an extraordinary view over Paris and its monuments from their private terraces. The furniture is quite unique and rare sometimes like the painted oak wood or the purple marble… In 2012, new suites were created. These duplexes were developed on the 7th and 8th floors under the roofs giving a magnificent view over Paris from their private terraces. The largest, which is 350 m2, can be transformed into a 1,000 m2 apartment. These suites are inspired by the universe of high fashion. For dining options, the hotel offers two restaurants and a bar where Thierry Marx operates. Very committed to environmental protection, the hotel has obtained the High Environmental Quality certificate (HQE) and it has hives on its roof…
