The place looks like a slum from the outside but inside it has a classic paris decour that must be experienced. The waiter was charming and a very colorful character. The bistro style food was better than normal and prices ok considering what you get. Highly recommended!

Merci de continuer à faire vivre cette petite maison d'un siècle lointain. Le plateau de charcuterie de grande qualité tout en musique, merci pour les papilles et l'ambiance.

In de middag langs dit restaurant gekomen en moet zeggen dat het er echt leuk uit zag. Werd ook leuk ontvangen, dus het leek de perfecte plek om te reserveren voor de avond. Maar…dit was een grote tegenvaller. Het eten was echt heel slecht en het was er ook niet druk. Heb de coquilles met linguine genomen en ben er ziek van. Kortom, eens en nooit meer.

Incredibly rude and pretentious waiter, he made me and my partner feel unwanted and uncomfortable for the entirety of our lunch. While we were greeted with initial fake niceties, as the service progressed he became more and more unpleasant, making rude remarks. When we wanted to leave we weren’t able to get the bill for over 20 minutes… not sure if this was because we were not French, but we never received service like this anywhere else in Paris. The cafe itself was very pretty however

Endroit magique, hors du temps ! Accueil exceptionnel par Frédéric, chef de salle polyglotte et passionné de chants ! Sa voix de ténor retentit encore dans nos oreilles avec délices !
Cuisine régionale savoureuse et largement servie .
Générosité : en salle , dans l’assiette …. Voilà le terme qui pourrait caractériser cet endroit .
Une chose est sûre : nous reviendrons !

It’s worth it to go and take pictures, but not some place I recommend dining. Food is ok, and service is ok (even better if you’re a lady the singing waiter thinks he can upsell to!) If you’re looking for a fine dining experience I think I would go elsewhere.

This place was the worst experience in Paris for me. We went to this cafe to drink a cup of coffee. We asked the waiter if we should order or wait outside. He was rude enough to reply “Do you know what you want?”. He brought us the worst coffee tasted disgusting, when I made a sip, I felt something weird and then I took out a piece of GLASS from my mouth! I was so sad that literally cried. I couldn’t even drink anymore. And they charged us 5 euro for drink with a piece of glass inside.

The first time we visited this special place we had an excellent night. The last visit however the food was not too good unfortunately. One dish was so extremely poor you couldn't call it a dish at all: non-prepared spaghetti with nothing. The promised three different pesto's existed of one tiny little bit of green pesto. I think the personnel was this time too busy downstairs with singing with and entertaining some drunk girls.

Le cadre est certes atypique, mais cela ne fait pas tout...
Réservation non notée, accueil déplorable, erreurs sur l'entrée et le plat...qualité de la nourriture plus que médiocre pour un prix exorbitant. Sans parler des erreurs sur la note et de la grossièreté du patron... des engueulades entre eux devant les clients.
Bref, nous avons mal mangé, été mal accueilli, ambiance glauque! Nous n'y remettrons plus les pieds!

Afzetterij. Oplichting. De ober dronk (rode wijn) waar we bijstonden. Het is te zeggen… Hij kapte een heel glas naar binnen. Je betaalt je blauw voor hetgeen op je bord ligt. Schandalig.

C’est un resto très jolie mais c’est, on n’ai pas bien mangé et c’est pas drôle voir comme dans la cuisine le frites sont pris avec la même main que fait le nettoyage.

Devanture et restaurant magnifique, dans le jus du vieux Paris comme il porte si bien son nom. Le patron chantait, c’était très marrant et pas dérangeant. On a très bien mangé, bien bu.
Sans regret, encore merci !

TOURIST TRAP. Food quality is very low.

Gentlemen that runs the place seems very nice at first but has very rude mannerisms.

This is the place that men take their wives/girlfriends because they think they would like it. But in reality it’s not a very good experience. We were charged €3.00 for each bottle of TAP WATER which was brought to us with a DIRTY BOTTLE with mould on top. It is not worth arguing over such a petty thing.

It is obvious that this man treats his customers as one time tourists who he will never see again. After you order he does not care about you.

It is unfortunate that such a small business with so much potential treats their customers without any respect. Such as handing you your plate and if you’re late to take it from him he shouts “alloooo” ???? one of many rude mannerisms.

Une adresse magique

Adresse extra dans une auberge du XVIème siècle construite avec les pierres de notre Dame.

Prendre un verre sous la glycine pour un moment romantique avec sa moitié. Le lieu est calme et possède une belle terrasse.
