A real stone behemoth, the Château de Sales stands majestically at the end of an avenue of plane trees. If the fortress was built at the end of the 15th century, the Charterhouse dates from the beginning of the 17th century. Architecturally remarkable, the castle is listed as a Historic Monument. In operation since the 19th century, the largest property in the Pomerol appellation has been passed down from generation to generation by women.
