SE CHATEAU HAUT-SARPE
Château Haut-Sarpe is a wine estate located in Libourne. Classified as a Grand Cru, it has been owned by the Joseph Janoueix family since 1930. The estate covers 21.5 hectares and produces mainly red wines made from 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet franc. Château Haut-Sarpe is renowned for its food and wine pairings, and is regularly served at prestigious meals at the Elysée, Matignon and the French Senate. Visitors can sample the estate's wines at tastings and take advantage of the wine tourism offered on site. The estate also obtained ISO 14001 certification in 2014, guaranteeing environmentally-friendly production. Tasting comments by experts Michel ROLLAND and Stéphane TOUTOUNDJI highlight the quality of Château Haut-Sarpe wines, with outstanding vintages such as 2016, 2015 and 2014.
