NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SOCIAL SECURITY
Museum exposing the great ideas and historical steps that guided the progressive advent of a social protection system
The National Museum of Social Security (Health Insurance) comprises nine rooms exhibiting the major ideas and historical stages that guided the gradual advent of a social protection system until the creation of Social Security in 1945. It is a journey to the heart of solidarity. The world of each era is reconstructed with the help of texts, but also objects, furniture and iconographic documents recalling the great and small history.
