DYING LAGOONS
A sensitive natural area where you can discover the fauna and flora of the Landes de Gascogne over a 3 kilometre route.
Remnants of the original moorland, these lagoons are an important part of the natural heritage of the Landes de Gascogne. These circular bodies of water of glacial origin form a magical, secret environment, evoking the landscapes of centuries gone by. Punctuated by a number of observatories, a 3 km trail enables visitors to discover the fauna (blue dragonfly, etc.) and flora (carnivorous bladderwort plants such as drosera and water lily) of this vast sensitive natural area. Following the fires of 2022, access to the site may still be closed: please check before your visit.
