ROQUEFORT CASTLE
A family property of the Bellanger vineyards, Château Roquefort is located on the Entre-deux-Mers wine route, between the Garonne and the Dordogne. Awarded in the Architecture and Landscape category (Best of Wine Tourism 2019) alongside the châteaux Les Carmes Haut-Brion and Lafon-Rochet, Château Roquefort tells a 6,000-year story. Exceptional remains from the Neolithic period are on display at the Musée d'Aquitaine and the Musée de la Société Linnéenne de Bordeaux. From the medieval period, only the keep remains.
