CHÂTEAU DESMIRAIL
Third Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, this château produces, on a vineyard of 37 hectares of deep Quaternary gravel, a great wine that is balanced, tender and velvety. The grape varieties: 60% of Cabernet-Sauvignon, 37% of Merlot and 3% of Petit Verdot. After manual harvesting, vinification and blending, the wine is put into oak barrels for a period of 12 to 18 months. The château produces about 80,000 bottles each year, as well as 80,000 bottles of its second wine, Initial de Desmirail. Several wine tourism packages are available, discover the theme tours and book online on the castle's website.
