CHÂTEAU PALMER
The Palmer castle is one of the jewels of the appellation of Margaux. He acquired his name from General Charles Palmer, who acquired it in 1814, but his wines are known and appreciated since the th century - they were even dégustait in Versailles. The vineyard of 55 hectares produces wide, smooth, crisp red wines with crisp and juicy fruit. The large part of Merlot in the assemblage of vines (originality in the Médoc, where Cabernet sauvignon is sufficiently large in normal time) gives the castle an immediate seduction, a velvety and noble character that makes it the true gentleman of the Grands crus Bordeaux.
