The Brasserie de Mérignac has joined the Escale des Pirates, which still exists and offers, among other things, dinner shows. The Brewery is a classic. The menu features burgers, bagels, tartars and salads, but the chef prepares some rather tasty dishes such as fromage frais with trout eggs, crumble, tomatoes and mesclun. The squid with chorizo is accompanied by a creamy risotto and vegetables of the moment. Meat lovers can choose between beef entrecôte, duck magret, pork ribs or a 5 A andouillette. Among the desserts a little note of Bordeaux with the cannelés in profiteroles. Brunch is composed of sweet dishes (pastries, toast, cereals, fresh fruit...) and savoury dishes (scrambled eggs, bacon...). The room is bright, the service welcoming and well organized. The plus: every week the Brasserie broadcasts the major sporting events of the moment.
