CLUB DE RECHERCHES ET D'EXPLORATIONS SOUTERRAINES (CRES)
Do you want to discover speleology? The Underground Research and Exploration Club offers beginners initiations (essential steps to be able to participate in exploration projects). Affiliated with the French Federation of Speleology, CRES is dedicated to studying the karst areas of the region. It also includes an archeological and prehistory section. Open to all, even minors, the CRES meets regularly to discuss new surveys and expeditions in Gironde and other departments. Reports are published on their site.
