On the quays of Pauillac, Bruno Coussin took over La Cambuse just one year ago. It's a delight to take refuge in this former vaulted cellar on hot days. The pleasant terrace is not huge, so reservations are advisable. The cuisine is bistronomic, with a menu of the day, suggestions on the slate, a small, specialized menu and carefully selected wines. Everything here is homemade except for the ice cream," explains the chef, who buys from local producers to source quality seasonal produce.
