We have discovered Les Phoenix, 4 guest houses installed in a big and beautiful recent house in the middle of a large garden with swimming pool. There is a kitchen accessible to all and a TV lounge. The places are simple but pleasant and comfortable; the atmosphere is family. Guests share a large bathroom (bright and functional); note that there are two rooms with washing corner. The owners have a sense of welcome and are very attentive as they leave for occupiers a fridge full of self-service drinks, as well as some provisions for snacks (cereals, tea, candies...). The breakfast is hearty. The house is in a quiet area, close to the centre of Pauillac and the Bages village.
