ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM AND GALLO-ROMAN VILLA
In the ancient village of Plassac near Blaye, a listed site with a Gallo-Roman villa and archaeological museum.
Classified as a historic monument, the Plassac site contains the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa built in the first centuries AD. Managed by the "Friends of Vieux Plassac" association, the museum showcases the region's historical heritage. On two floors, archaeological furniture and other objects from the excavations (wall decorations, architectural elements, tools, etc.) are on display, along with a virtual 3D reconstruction of the villa.
