CHÂTEAU SUDUIRAUT
Château dating from the 18th century which produces a Sauternes Premier Cru Classé and offers visits, tastings and workshops.
At the end of the 17th century, Count Blaise de Suduiraut restored the vineyards devastated during the Fronde wars, and a few years later, magnificent gardens designed by Le Nôtre were added to the ensemble. The estate extends over 200 hectares, including 92 hectares of vines planted on sandy-clay gravel soils, from which the château produces a Sauternes Premier Cru Classé. A visit to the estate includes a tour of the vineyards, the cellars and a tasting session. Aromas" and "Wine and Cheese" workshops are also available.
