Dating back to the Quaternary era, Grotte Célestine was carved out of the limestone rock by an underground river. Discovered in 1845, for a long time it was only accessible from the bedroom of an honorable rauzanaise woman who gave it its name. Now open to the general public (+ 1.20 m), this incredible cave beneath the city allows visitors to observe the splendors of a mineral world and a wealth of underground hydrological activity. Equipped with a helmet, headlamp, boots and gown, it's up to you to enter the bowels of the Earth!
