J.C. GAULUPEAU
The elegant old front, its marble and gilding, but also its magnificent stalls, can be seen in the lively rue de la Paroisse. Gaulupeau, completely renovated in 2016, lives in the historic sites of the Notre-Dame pastry shop, created in 1769. In addition to being a renowned bakery, and a refined confectionery, the house is also a charming old-fashioned tea room, chic and cosy, ideal for tea time, or a caterer offering takeaway terrines, puff pastries and other salty delicacies. But the Gaulupeau house is in constant evolution, seeking to renew itself, so the sweet treats are declined according to the time and inspiration of the pastry chef, who has a pastry laboratory in Le Chesnay. In summer, you can also eat delicious homemade ice cream. The house also offers a catering service, which today provides its main activity.
