LE CHAT QUI PÊCHE
Restaurant with a terrace featuring local cuisine and fresh, seasonal produce.
Le Chat qui Pêche is located on the canal-side port of Argeliers, in a pretty, bucolic setting. One of the charms of this restaurant is its vinyl music atmosphere, where you can choose and play a record. Its original cuisine blends world and local flavors. A convivial concept of dishes to share is proposed. Suggested dishes include duck confit egg rolls, scallop lollipops with foie gras, trout gravlax, pork gyoza with Thai broth or lightly matured beef T-bone.

Lovely position on the canal. Small plate "tapas style" eating. Each dish is really special in its own right and mostly French. This is not Spanish tapas it is just small plate eating. Fabulous ravioli (yeah, I know but trust me and try it before you roll your eyes). Ris de veaux. Scallops in a fantastic sauce. A duck dish with spicy spring rolls and slices of breast cooked pink. Lovely friendly staff. A HUGE 70s biased LP record collection which they play on a period turntable. Interesting art. Lovely place.
