LA MAISON DU PATRIMOINE NATUREL DU CREONNAIS
The old Sadirac railway station, along the cycle trail Roger Lapébie, houses the Maison natural heritage house, managed by the Ocean Association, whose objective is to disseminate knowledge of science and the history of environments to the general public. During the summer and until the autumn you can discover the Pimpine Valley and its 18 km river during workshops and walks. You can walk on foot or by bike, the fascinating landscape of the river from its source to its mouth: marsh, lakes, forests, outbreaks of groundwater, paleo-rivers and paleo-environments, quarries, prehistoric shelters, Gallo-Roman occupation, water mill… Entertaining experiences with samples, observations and manipulations will be offered around the themes of water, soil, fauna and flora and heritage.
