Located in the heart of the Fronsadais, the Saillans is an essential gastronomic step. The chef, Gilles Udron -normand of origin, and his wife Sophie made the bet to attract a beautiful clientele in this small village, a few kilometers from Libourne, but far from a road axis. Thanks to the chef's talents past a few months in the service, Sophie's smile and the chic and cozy place that offers three rooms. In the summer we settle in the shade of the catalpas. The card reinvents itself regularly according to the seasons and the inspiration of the one behind the piano… All products are of high quality and work with great control. You can see in the plate a crunchy of vegetables and beans mungo to the jam of tamarine presented as a nem. The title may sound complicated but in fact the nem is simple, the flavors that seduce us from the first bite. The filet of cans, red fruit and old vegetables is very pleased. In dessert, the basil burnt cream and olive oil are tried with great uncertainty. Once in the mouth we have no regrets. An address like you like them: delicious, warm and simple.

Service trés agréable .
Le soin apporté au dressage et celui, fort rare, de la description du plat qui vient de vous être présenté sont en harmonie avec la subtilité des cuissons, irréprochables.
En fait, ici c'est aussi fin qu'au restaurant étoilé, mais généreux comme chez votre grand-mère, et la carte des vins est riche et très accessible.
Un conseil, réservez si vous souhaitez être accueillis en ce haut-lieu de la gastronomie Libournaise !
