A few kilometres from Carcassonne, on the Côteaux of Villalbe, there is a very beautiful residence in contemporary architecture, all in stained glass and stones in the Gard. It is François Thellier who has made this accomplishment, which has four luxurious guest rooms and a gourmet restaurant with original and refined cuisine, concocted by François Thellier himself. The rooms are very spacious (about 30 m2), beautifully and tastefully furnished, and light with the stained glass bays overlooking the park and the centuries-old olive trees. The establishment is decorated with contemporary art sculptures and paintings by Marc Trigane, a contemporary visual artist who regularly exhibits both in France and abroad. A sense of calm emerges from this welcoming and quiet place. You can find yourself among friends to discover the generous cellar around a glass of wine from either here or elsewhere, or sit in the little lounge to play some notes on the piano. In summer, the swimming pool is a real freshness and allows you to relax on the terrace of this 21st-century capitelle.
