THE TASTING ROOM
Hadrian has taken over the Canard Bleu, the Carcassonne epicurean and aesthete's den, set up a few years ago by the traveller chef Robert Haumont. Since then, the place has been called the aptly named Tasting Room, to get away from the crowds of the city centre. Don't talk to him about his famous American origins because our international wine merchant likes to remain discreet. He prefers to emphasise his Italian side, which he has well represented in his cellar with wines that make you travel. You can also find local wines and "fatto in Italia" pizzas.
