MAISON AIME PECH
At the entrance of Cité Médiévale, its very beautiful frontage makes you want to enter what is also a very busy corner shop. Maison Aimé Pech (formerly known as Blanche de Castille) has resumed its original name: that of the Pech family. In addition to its pretty inner courtyard transformed into a terrace overlooking the ramparts, you are welcomed in recently entirely renovated buildings, with an extended shop and tea room. The simple decoration is of raw wood and zinc, white and taupe walls. A true haven of peace where soft jazz or classical music sets the atmosphere, you can drink tea that you can choose among the 50 varieties, unless you prefer to choose an authentic old-style hot chocolate or a squeezed fruit juice. You can also enjoy pastries, sweets, sandwiches, quiches and croque-monsieur, homemade ice creams or traditional sweets. You may also get high-quality local products, teapots and tea accessories.
